“We take a lot of things for granted…” – Bongo

Posted on February 26, 2013 at 1:57 pm

For 25 years, Bongo has made balloon animals for kids and the young at heart in Boulder’s outdoor Pearl Street Mall.  Having grown up in an economically conservative household, he learned to appreciate money and resources from an early age.  He appreciates personal freedom and responsibility, and feels resentment toward Wall Street and Big Business for tempting people to live beyond their means and spend money they don’t have.  Creating balloon animals keeps his financial bases covered, and he sees no reason to stop. Which is good, because like most people, he doesn’t see retirement as a viable option.
