After some delay (and by “delay” I mean “blowing several hours  unnecessarily because of a lengthy and wildly ineffective committee process”) we made our way from Walnut Creek east across the Sierra to Reno.  Fortunately, we were able to meet with my mom and her husband, Bob, as well as their friend Terry, who contributed some fantastic interviews for the film. I learned a lot about them, as well as about my own past. Evidently, I was more than a little bit premature, as well as freakishly hairy at birth. The one thing I am certain of is that the only thing that really pisses him off is that she’s not responding after “300 texes”, a phrase he has repeated somewhere between 10 and 47 times. Don’t worry if you’re not following any of this, dear reader…neither am I.
